Twins starter Sam Deduno and outfielder Wilkin Ramirez are both headed to the disabled list, according to Rhett Bolinger or MLB.com.

Ramirez fractured tibia likely ends his season, while Deduno’s issue is shoulder related, according to Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press.
After a good start to the year, Deduno struggled in August, posting 1-4 record and a 5.40 ERA. Still, he was one of few bright spots in the Twins rotation this year. No word on exactly what is wrong with his shoulder, as results of an MRI are expected later today.
Ramirez had been hitting reasonably well before his injury, posting a .272 average in 81 at-bats scattered throughout the year.
Pitcher Pedro Hernandez, who has started seven games for the big club this year, and outfielder Darin Mastroianni will be called up to fill the roster spots of Deduno and Ramirez.
In other news, Phil Miller of the Star Tribune reports that the deadline to trade Josh Willingham has passed after the Orioles claimed him off waivers earlier this week.
With the deadline having come and gone, Willingham will remain in a Twins uniform for the remainder of the season.
