Good news for Samuel Deduno.
The Twins’ right-hander threw a pain-free bullpen session on Wednesday, which means he’ll make his next schedule start Friday in Cleveland.
“I feel pretty normal,” he told the Pioneer Press. “I didn’t feel anything (pain). I just want to keep my mind strong.”
Deduno was diagnosed with biceps tendinitis following his last start Sunday against the White Sox.
Three straight losses with 7.03 ERA in those three starts were uncharacteristic of Deduno. He was 7-4 with a 3.17 ERA in his first 13 starts of the season.
