Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson will represent the Minnesota Vikings in the 2021 Pro Bowl after being selected by players, fans and coaches for an all-digital event next month.
Cook is selected to his second consecutive Pro Bowl after leading the fan voting as the top NFC running back among vote-getters. Cook leads the NFL with 1,833 scrimmage yards this season and is tied for first with 15 rushing touchdowns.
The Florida State alum also became the third Viking in team history to rush for over 1,400 yards in a season along with Robert Smith (2000) and Adrian Peterson (2008, 2012, 2015).
Jefferson’s selection makes him the third rookie wide receiver in franchise history to make the Pro Bowl along with Randy Moss (1998) and Sammy White (1976).
Jefferson leads all rookie receivers with 1,182 receiving yards and ranks sixth in the NFL among qualifiers with 16.2 yards per reception.
The 2021 Pro Bowl was scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, but was converted to a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In its place, the NFL and EA SPORTS have teamed up for a week-long series of matchups featuring celebrities, NFL Legends, current players and streamers playing as the official Pro Bowl rosters in Madden NFL 21 and will air on ESPN and ABC.
