A setback for ex-Twin Scott Baker, now with the Chicago Cubs.
The Cubs have shut him down after he developed soreness in his right elbow, according to SB Nation.
Baker is trying to return from Tommy John surgery.
In just one outing this spring, he gave up three runs while only recording one out.
Cubs manager Dale Sveum tells the Chicago Sun-Times that it’s “still too soon to really know” when and if Baker will be back.
He missed the entire 2012 season recovering from the reconstructive surgery.
