Mikael Granlund had an interesting Tuesday.
The Wild’s top prospect was reassigned to Houston in the AHL, but before he could leave he was recalled to play in the place of Mike Rupp.
Granlund took advantage of the opportunity, scoring his second goal of the season. It gave Minnesota a 3-1 lead in a big game in Edmonton, which the Wild ended up winning by a score of 5-3.
