The skilled hands of Charlie Coyle were on full display Tuesday night in Edmonton as the young forward scored a sensational goal with 4:23 left in the third period to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead and eventual win over the Oilers.

Edmonton missed an open net midway through the third period that would have given them the lead, but they were also frequently denied by Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk, who made an incredible save on an Oilers breakaway opportunity. Here’s the video from Wild.com.

Meanwhile, Zach Parise left the game midway through the first period when he took a puck to his mouth. After losing some blood on the ice he was taken to the locker room before returning to action. Parise needed stitches to seal a nasty gash above his lip when he was hit by a puck in New York earlier this season.
Deadspin says Parise lost a tooth, which he picks up off the bloody ice in the video.
