Freshman Tommy Novak scored the go-ahead goal to lift the Minnesota Gophers to a 4-2 victory over Michigan State Friday night at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Michigan.
Jack Glover added a pair of goals for his first career multi-goal game, while Justin Kloos added three assists.

Minnesota State 6, Bemidji State 1
Minnesota State University locked up at least a share of the MacNaughton Cup as they blasted Bemidji State 6-1 Friday night.
Teddy Blueger had a goal and two assists in the victory.
Minnesota State built a 4-0 lead midway through the second period, before Bemidji State finally got on the scoreboard.
But the Mavericks answered right back, putting the game away with a pair of goals in the third.

Karson Kuhlman and Kyle Osterberg each had a goal and an assist to help lead Minnesota Duluth to a 5-0 victory over Miami of Ohio Friday night.
Bulldog goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo stopped all 20 shots he faced in the victory.
The series continues Saturday night in Duluth.
