Hudson Fasching scored 1:08 into overtime and the Minnesota Gophers rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat Ohio State 3-2 in overtime Friday night at Mariucci Arena.

After the Buckeyes scored in the first and second to build a 2-0 lead, the Gophers rallied for three goals.
Tyler Sheehy scored at the 6:10 mark of the third period to cut the lead to one, then Tommy Novak tied it up with an assist from Fasching.
Fasching and Novak each had a goal and an assist. Steve Johnson added a pair of assists for the Gophers.
The series continues on Saturday at Mariucci.
Huskies overwhelm Nebraska-Omaha
Robby Jackson had a pair of goals and St. Cloud State beat Nebraska-Omaha 4-1 Friday night in St. Cloud.
Kalle Kossila added a pair of assists for St. Cloud.
The win improves the Huskies to 12-3 on the season and 6-1 in the NCHC. The series continues Saturday at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud.

Minnesota Duluth scored four power play goals and shutout Western Michigan 7-0 Friday night in Duluth.
Karson Kuhlman scored a pair of goals and Andy Welinski had three assists in the victory. Austin Farley also added two assists for the Bulldogs.
The series continues on Saturday in Duluth.
Bitzer’s shutout lifts Bemidji to a 2-0 victory
Michael Bitzer stopped all 25 shots that he faced as Bemidji State beat Ferris State 2-0.
Brendan Harms gave the Beavers the lead in the first with his third goal of the season, and Markus Gerbrandt put the game away with an insurance goal late in the third.
The series will continue Saturday in Bemidji.
Mavericks and Bowling Green skate to 2-all tie
Zeb Knutson and Michael Huntebrinker each scored, but Minnesota State wasn’t able to hold onto their two goal lead and finished in a 2-2 tie with Bowling Green.
With Minnesota State leading by two, Bowling Green came back with goals from Brandon Hawkins and Ben Murphy to pull even.
After the five minute overtime, the game finished tied at 2.
The series will continue on Saturday at Bowling Green.
