With temperatures for Monday forecast to be in the mid-30s, fans are wondering if the Twins home opener against the Tigers will be postponed.
Unlikely.
Twins president Dave St. Peter admitted that if Tuesday’s weather was forecast to be better, the team might consider delaying the start of the season, but temps on Tuesday won’t be much warmer.
Meanwhile, Kevin Correia pitched well in his final start of the spring as the Twins lost to Boston, 6-1 Thursday night. Correai, who will pitch game two of the season, gave up one run on five hits in five innings.
