Gophers football coach Jerry Kill says there’s “no room for error” if Minnesota expects to beat Iowa Saturday in the Big Ten opener. Kill also admits his 4-0 team is better this year than last year, but still “nowhere close to where we need to be.”
Kill made his comments today in his weekly news conference, previewing the Hawkeyes game. You can see it in its entirety,RIGHT HERE.

As for Saturday’s starting quarterback, Kill again stated that he doesn’t think MarQueis Gray will be ready to play Saturday. Gray is out with a high ankle sprain. That means backup Max Shortell is in line to get another start.
