Gus Tinnuci says he doesn’t expect that former Vikings receiver Randy Moss will be paying him a visit while he’s back in town with the San Francisco 49ers.
Tinnuci tells the New York Times in an article published by the Pioneer Press that his business was off-the-charts for nine months thanks to free publicity he received after Moss reportedly said a meal he catered for the Vikings wasn’t even suitable for his dog.
The incident happened during Moss’ brief return to the Vikings in 2010, when Moss reportedly launched into a tirade in a buffet line at the team’s facility.
Tinnuci tells the Times that while Vikings team ownership apologized for the incident, he was never asked back for another catering job.
As for Sunday’s Vikings’ game against the 49ers, here’s a preview.
