Jimmy Butler is already using his “Minnesota nice” on his former co-workers with the Chicago Bulls.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Butler, traded to the Timberwolves in June, took approximately 35 members of the Bulls organization, from sales people to media relations members, out to dinner Sunday night.
The report says Butler covered the bill during a three-hour get-together at Katana, a sushi joint in downtown Chicago.
Butler made $16.4 million with the Bulls last season, which equates to just under $4,167 for every minute of a 48-minute game. So, all 35 of the reported guests would’ve needed to spend $119 on food and drinks to cost Butler a minute of his paycheck.
Katana’s prices aren’t cheap, but they’re not insanely expensive, either.
