He’s not back yet, but today marked a step in the right direction for Wolves swingman Chase Budinger.
After undergoing his second knee surgery in less than a year in early October, Budinger returned to Wolves practice this afternoon, participating in light drills after a month of rehab in Florida.
Budinger tweeted his feelings about getting back to Minneapolis, adding later that it got a little lonely during his rehab in Florida.
Glad to be back around the team and target center! #wolvesunited

Though he is back with the team, it looks like he is still quite a ways from returning to game action for Minnesota.
Chase Budinger not putting any time table on his return. "Taking it week by week." Gonna be a while.

Still guessing mid to late December for a Budinger return. Just a guess though. Not even traveling with the team yet

The Associated Press’ Jon Krawczynski simply speculating, but he’s one of the most active and plugged in reporters in town.
Here’s a snippet of what Budinger had to say to the media after practice today.
