The Timberwolves fell to the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night 103-86 at Target Center.
It was the Wolves third straight loss.
Minnesota was still rather short-handed in the contest. Thaddeus Young returned to the Wolves lineup, but Minnesota was down another point guard as Mo Williams missed the game because of an illness. By the end of the night, the Wolves’ lack of depth appeared to catch up with them.
The game was tight until the fourth, when the Bucks put it away with a big run down the stretch. Milwaukee outscored the Wolves 31-16 in the final quarter.
Seven Bucks were in double figures, led by Larry Sanders and Brandon Knight with 15 each. Milwaukee rookie Jabari Parker, who was the second pick in the NBA Draft, finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Corey Brewer led the Timberwolves with 19. He also had six rebounds and three assists, but turned it over a team-high seven times.
Andrew Wiggins followed up Saturday’s career-high 29-point effort against Sacramento with 14 points. Wiggins also grabbed eight boards and blocked two shots Wednesday, including this highlight reel block of Parker.

The Wolves (3-10) travel to Los Angeles to meet up with the Lakers (3-11) on Friday night.
