Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown was suspended two games by the NHL on Wednesday.
The suspension was warranted after Brown seemingly intentionally elbowed Minnesota Wild forward Jason Pominville in the Wild’s 2-1 win over the Kings Tuesday night in St. Paul.
Pominville was injured on the play and did not return to the game. The Wild says he is day-to-day.
