ESPN is paying the NFL $105 million for the right to air the Vikings-Giants game on Monday night.
$105 million dollars is a lot of money for one of the worst matchups in Monday Night Football history. The game might turn out to be amazing, but the stats going into this one don’t lie.
According to the Pioneer Press, the combined record of the Vikings and Giants (1-10) creates the worst combined winning percentage (.090) for two teams ever matched up on Monday Night Football this late into the season.
ELIAS confirms Vikings-Giants' combined winning % of .090 makes their Week 7 matchup the worst in 44-year MNF history this late in season

It’s more embarrassing for the Giants because the Vikings have a win. At least the NFL fans in London might think the Vikings are good.
