Teddy Bridgewater is the latest member of the Vikings to publicly say he expects Adrian Peterson in purple and gold next season.
“We expect Adrian to be here,” Teddy Bridgewater said Monday, via the Pioneer Press. “The guys in the locker room, we all love Adrian.”
Bridgewater attended Peterson’s 30th birthday party last month. But unlike Peterson, Bridgewater did not go on a camel ride.

As a rookie, Bridgewater never got to play with Peterson. He was the backup to Matt Cassel the first two weeks of the season before replacing Cassel after the veteran was injured in a Week 3 loss at New Orleans. Peterson didn’t play again after child abuse charges surfaced following a Week 1 win over St. Louis.
Bridgewater might be licking his chops thinking about how explosive the offense could be with the additions of Peterson and new deep-threat receiver Mike Wallace, NFL.com notes.
If I'm Rick Spielman I want Adrian Peterson in my backfield, opening things up for Teddy Bridgewater & Mike Wallace. That's a solid offense.
