Bridgewater sprained his left ankle late in the fourth quarter of Minnesota’s 41-28 victory over Atlanta on Sunday. The cause for concern grew when he was carted off the field into the locker room. A few minutes later he was carted back onto the field, where he was a spectator for the rest of the game.
On Monday, he seemed to hint that he would be capable of playing.
“It’s going to be very difficult, but it’s something that happened in college,” Bridgewater said Monday, via ESPN. “When I was in college [in 2012], I got hurt on a Saturday and had the University of Rutgers on a short week, on a Thursday also. I think in this situation, I’m just going to have to put extra time in the training room, spend as much time as I can around the facility and in the training room, try to get ready for Thursday.”
He also said “it will” be fun to play at Lambeau Field. Read into that all you want…
Teddy: "It will be very exciting to be out there (at Lambeau)." Notice the it "will" he added… #Vikings

Greenway unlikely to play
Zimmer told reporters that outside linebacker Chad Greenway, the team’s leading tackler five consecutive seasons, will not practice again today. He missed last week’s game with a broken hand and broken rib, although the rib injury was the reason he was sidelined.
