Brandon Roy could be preparing to give his NBA career one more shot. The Timberwolves guard may return to play Saturday night when Minnesota takes on the Phoenix Suns.
SBNation reports that Roy was able to get through a full practice Thursday and plans to practice again on Friday.
Roy played five games with the Wolves this season before knee problems in November took him out of the lineup. He underwent arthroscopic surgery on Nov. 19 and has been slowly rehabbing his knee since then.
NBC Sports reports that Roy has struggled with chronic knee problems. His most recent operation was his seventh knee surgery.
