Believe it or not, eight weeks of high school football are in the books and it’s on to the section and state playoffs. There are seven classes of football in Minnesota, with 9-man through 5A settling into section playoffs next week. Class 6A features 32 big schools and that massive bracket was released Friday morning.
The 6A bracket features four sections with teams seeded 1-8. Here’s how the seeding worked out.
1 seeds: Centennial, Lakeville South, Eden Prairie, Stillwater
2 seeds: Woodbury, Minnetonka, Lakeville North, Maple Grove
3 seeds: Rosemount, Anoka, Forest Lake, Edina
4 seeds: Mounds View, Shakopee, Eagan, St. Michael-Albertville
5 seeds: Prior Lake, Champlin Park, White Bear Lake, Rochester Mayo
6 seeds: Blaine, East Ridge, Wayzata, Farmington
7 seeds: Buffalo, Eastview, Coon Rapids, Park of Cottage Grove
8 seeds: Burnsville, Roseville, Osseo, Hopkins
