After taking a high-stick while colliding with another player, Wild forward Zach Parise left Tuesday’s game against the Capitals and didn’t return.
After the game, head coach Bruce Boudreau said Parise’s eye was swollen and that he had suffered an additional upper-body injury.
Fast forward to Wednesday – Boudreau told reporters after practice that Parise can see out of the injured eye and he shouldn’t be out very long.
Boudreau on Parise: He can see and is fine as far as that goes…he's sore in the upper body. I don't think he'll be out long.

According to the Anthony Lapanta, the Wild’s television play-by-play voice, Parise is unlikely to play tomorrow, but he could be back by next week.
It’s a good thing the Wild recalled Joel Eriksson Ek yesterday, because the team will need their depth to come through with Parise injured.
Here’s what the lines looked liked at practice on Wednesday, according to Rachel Blount of the Star Tribune.
Stewart – Staal – Coyle
Zucker – Koivu – Granlund
Haula – Hanzal – Pominville
Niederreiter – Eriksson Ek – Schroeder/White
The Wild host the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
