The Minnesota Gophers men’s hockey team has once again reached the top 10 in NCAA Division I hockey.
Both major college hockey polls have ranked Minnesota in the top 10. U.S. College Hockey Online ranks the Gophers at No. 9 this week, while USA Today/USA Hockey slots them in one spot higher at No. 8.
The Gophers started the season 2-0, beating the University of Alaska teams from both Anchorage and Fairbanks during a weekend road trip.
But Minnesota isn’t alone, several other regional college hockey programs find themselves in the top 10. North Dakota is No. 1, in both polls, while Minnesota-Duluth is fourth and St. Cloud State is also in the top 10.
