The St. Louis Blues snapped the Wild’s NHL-record tying, 12-game road winning streak Saturday with a 4-2 win as the Minnesota team closed out the regular season.
The Wild finish off their season 46-28-8, earning the wild card spot in the playoffs. They’ll play the Blues or Ducks in the first round.
The Blues clinched the top seed in the Western Conference with the win, depending which team wins the Ducks-Coyotes game Saturday night.
According to NHL.com, the Blues will earn the top seed in the event the Ducks lose in regulation play, overtime or in a shootout, or if the Ducks win in the shootout.
