Minnesota Timberwolves 101
Dallas Mavericks 128
The Mavericks crushed the Timberwolves 128-101 in Dallas on Sunday night, and it wasn’t close from start to finish.
1. First quarter and over
Dallas built a 20-point lead midway through the first quarter and they rode that cushion all night long. Minnesota cut the lead to 11 points at the half, only to watch the Mavericks outscore them by 14 in the third and put it on cruise control the rest of the way.
2. Chandler Parsons show
Chandler Parsons lit up the Wolves for 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-7 on 3-point shots. Meanwhile, Dirk Nowitzki had 6 of his 10 points in the first two minutes of the game. He played just 17 minutes but still extended his streak of scoring 10 or more points against the Wolves to 44 games.
Dirk (10pts) is done for the night but he extends his streak to 44 straight games w/ 10+ points vs. MIN, only longer active streak? Kobe 60.

3. Muhammad the lone bright spot
Shabazz Muhammad led the Wolves with 24 points off the bench. There’s really not much else to say about that.
Tweet of the Night:
