The Gopher men’s hockey team survived a scare Friday night as they battled from behind to beat Alaska-Anchorage, 4-3.
Minnesota led 2-1 at the start of the third period, but two goals by the Seawolves put Minnesota in a 3-2 hole.
They would tied the game on Nick Bjugstad’s goal with a little more than three minutes left in the game, and win it on Ben Marshall’s goal with 51 seconds left in regulation.
Elsewhere in the WCHA:
Minnesota-Duluth outlasted Michigan Tech, 1-0.
Colorado College defeated North Dakota, 4-3.
