Just when Nemanja Bjelica was coming on strong in his first season with the Timberwolves, his season is over after injuring his foot early in Wednesday’s loss to the Boston Celtics.
The Wolves aren’t saying what the injury is, only that it happened to Bjelica’s left foot. The team says it will release more information after Bjelica is evaluated further.
In his last eight games, Bjelica had come off the bench and produced a four double doubles.
With Bjelica out, expect more playing time for Shabazz Muhammad.
