Desmond Bishop, it’s your move.
The ex-Packers linebacker is expected to make his Vikings debut Friday night in the preseason game at Buffalo.
“I’m going to take this opportunity Friday and kind of show the world what Desmond Bishop is all about,” he told the Pioneer Press.
Bishop missed the exhibition opener against Houston due to a groin injury.
In a Monday news briefing, Vikings defensive coordinator Alan Williams said he expects Bishop to be a bit rusty, especially since he hasn’t been in a game in more than a year.
Bishop tore his hamstring last August during Green Bay’s preseason opener in San Diego.
“I’m not going to put any undue pressure on him,” Williams said. “Just let him compete. And he’s doing that. He’s a professional.”
