The Gophers men’s basketball team beat Clemson 89-83 Monday night at Williams Arena in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
1. Freshman Murphy makes presence known
Gopher freshman Jordan Murphy picked a good night to have his best night so far. Murphy put up a career-high 24 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds – 8 of them were offensive boards.
Murphy's 20 points is the first 20+ game by a #Gophers freshman since @AndreHollins in 2011-12.

2. King Me!
Joey King had another efficient night for Minnesota. King’s sharp shooting helped the Gophers hold off the Tigers. He was 6-of-8 from the floor and finished with 17 points.
3. Non-conference home winning streak reaches 47
The Gophers haven’t lost a non-conference home game since 2010. Minnesota extended the streak to 47 games, the second longest in the NCAA basketball.
Only Duke has a longer streak of non-conference home victories. The Blue Devils have won 120 straight.
