The Major League Baseball schedule-makers apparently don’t mind the prospect of playing in a little snow.
For the first time since Target Field opened in 2010, the Minnesota Twins will startthe 2013 campaign with a home series, April 1-4 against the Detroit Tigers.
It’s also a year when Interleague play across MLB spreads out across the entire season. As a result, the Twins will host the New York Mets (and Johan Santana) and Miami Marilns in April.
