Well this one came out of left field.
Twins broadcaster Bert Blyleven tweeted that Fox Sports North has informed him him that the “Circle Me Bert” schtick is over with.

Blyleven said fans “can still bring signs” so we imagine he’ll still circle people. But if he literally isn’t allowed to circle people, well, then FSN has to answer to a boatload of angry people.
@fsnorth big mistake. Fans for 45 years, kids are fans for 15 and 12 years. Don’t stop Circle Me Bert please #circlemebert

@fsnorth if the #MNTwins fail to meet expectations this year I will personally blame you for delivering a giant karma thunder bolt. How can you get rid of circle me Bert and MN lotto tickets. who makes these decisions. #undoit

Was tradition with my Grandpa & Grandma to bring a “Circle Me Bert” sign to every Twins game they brought me to. Now that they have both passed, seeing this hurts even a little more. I would encourage all to still bring the signs. Please don’t let this tradition die. 🙏🏻
