Scott Baker spoke to the media on Friday for the first time since having season-ending Tommy John surgery. When he found out he needed the operation, he says he was “O.K. with it.” The right-hander also said he did everything he could to try and pitch through his elbows problems, but it “just wasn’t going to happen.”
