Wisconsin captured the regular season Big Ten championship Thursday night at ‘The Barn’ with their 76-63 victory over Minnesota.
Wisconsin started off red hot from the outside and built a big first half lead as they knocked down 7 of their first 10 from the three-point line.
Frank Kaminsky was nearly unstoppable for the Badgers. He scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out seven assists. He was 10-of-15 from the floor and knocked down a pair of three-pointers.
Pitino on Kaminsky: He was on the court, we got fortunate last year to get him in foul trouble. I personally think he's the Wooden winner.

Sam Dekker added 20, including this rim-rocking dunk.
This Sam "Slam" Dekker dunk sums up Wisconsin’s Big Ten title-clinching win over Minnesota pretty well. #SCtop10 http://t.co/6Vu6Hqn2UP

It was a disappointing performance for the Gophers, who had a week off following their upset victory over Michigan State last week. Minnesota drops to 4-4 in Big Ten play at Williams Arena.
Gopher newcomers Nate Mason and Carlos Morris led the way in the loss. Mason finished with 15 points, Morris added 11. They were the only two Gophers in double figures.
Minnesota (17-11, 6-11) closes their regular season at home on Sunday against Penn State.
