Brett Favre is one of the all-time great quarterbacks in NFL history, but he might be an even better prankster.
During a national conference call on Tuesday, Favre told a story about how he used to prank his teammates in Green Bay. Listen to the audio in the video from Green & Gold Zone below.
“When it got extremely cold and guys had to park outside … no one locked their cars because it was gated,” said Favre. “So we would go out, we’d get in someone’s car and we would actually move it to the far end of the parking lot and we’d leave it running with the air conditioning on. When we got out we would take a cup of water and we would throw it on the door – and they couldn’t open it.”
“When they were finally able to get it, if it was 30 degrees or zero degrees, whatever, outside, it’d be even colder inside. That was a cruel prank.”
Favre was talking to reporters after news broke that the Packers are going to honor Favre during halftime of their Oct. 16 game against the Cowboys. They’ll be saluting Favre on his August induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
