The Twins played in front of a second straight sellout crowd of 40,273, and their fourth of the year.

The Cubs’ lead was just 2-0 and the game was within reach for the Twins until the eighth inning, when they scored six runs – led by Dexter Fowler’s grand slam, MLB.com reports.
One of the only Twins’ hits came from Byron Buxton; a single in the eighth inning, which was his first hit at Target Field.

Buxton also stole his first base in the majors, according to the Pioneer Press.

According to MLB.com, Buxton became the sixth-youngest Twin to get a stolen base. The other ones on that list includes Joe Mauer, Luis Rivas, Cristian Guzman, Butch Wynegar and Zolio Versalles.
Twins starting pitcher Kyle Gibson allowed two runs on six hits in his five innings.
After an impressive May when they moved into first place in the AL Central Division, the Twins have struggled in June and are 7-13 so far this month. They’re now second in the division, 3.5 games behind Kansas City.

The Twins host the Chicago White Sox for a three-game series beginning Monday night. Game starts at 7:10 p.m. Tommy Milone will start for Minnesota.
