After shorting Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer a cheeseburger in his late-night order and sending promotional cups with a Packers’ logo on them to a Twin Cities branch, McDonald’s is making up for it all by giving the Vikings 100 free hamburgers.

“I went to McDonald’s on the way home, because I was hungry,” Zimmer said. “I ordered two cheeseburgers, and I only got one. That’s the kind of week it’s been.”
It's been a tough week for Coach Zimmer, even outside of football.

Based on the menu, the 100-burger donation will cost McDonald’s about $100.
