Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is finally offering an explanation as to why he missed the team bus to Chicago’s Soldier Field last Sunday.
He told reporters today that he simply “overslept,” calling the incident “unfortunate.”
Peterson tells the Star Tribune he was in the locker room about 90 minutes before kickoff and said missing the bus didn’t alter his pre-game routine.
