After being limited in practice on Thursday, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was held out of practice with a hamstring injury on Friday.
The good news is that coach Leslie Frazier doesn’t seem too worried about the availability of Peterson for the Vikings-Giants game on Monday night.
“I think he’ll be fine with a day of rest and be ready to [practice] tomorrow,” Frazier said, via the Star Tribune.
According to FOX Sports North, Peterson’s hamstring is just a little tight. Nothing serious.
In related news, kicker Blair Walsh will be a game-time decision. He’s battling a hamstring injury of his own. Last week Walsh was limited to field goals and extra-points against the Panthers. Punter Jeff Locke handled kickoff duties.
