Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been cited for 3rd-degree assault after he allegedly threw a chair during Tuesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets, hitting two arena employees.
The incident happened as Edwards left the floor following the 112-109 defeat, and as he left he allegedly grabbed a folding chair and swung it around.
TMZ reports that two staff members working at the Ball Arena say they were hit by the chair, and suffered injuries as a result. Edwards has since been cited for assault.
