Andrew Brunette, after 16 seasons in the NHL, announced his retirement on Wednesday. He had two stints with the Wild and is the franchise’s second all-time leading goal-scorer.
Brunette and the Wild also announced that he’s joining the front office as a hockey operations advisor. He’ll assist general manager Chuck Fletcher with free-agent signings, scouting and development of players at all levels of the organization.
Bruno is best known for his game 7 game-winning goal against Colorado in the 2003 NHL playoffs.
