Minnesota’s 4-1 start to the season has evaporated into a 6-6 record and an outside shot at making the playoffs. Defensive end Jared Allen says “these are must win games now” and the Vikings have to win the final four games of the season.
Meanwhile, Allen missed practice for the second time this week on Thursday. He’s suffering from back spasms, but says he’ll play no matter what.
Defensive back Chris Cook was back at practice Wednesday for the first time since breaking his arm in late October. Cook wore a protective cast on his arm, but head coach Leslie Frazier hopes that Cook will return to game-action week 16 against Houston.
