A trade involving Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios appears to be imminent, according to multiple MLB insiders.
MLB Network’s Jon Morosi tweeted at 11:10 a.m. that Berrios “will be traded today” so long as there aren’t any unexpected changes in negotiations. The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal said a Berrios trade is “likely,” adding that the Blue Jays are the frontrunner.

MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand says the Blue Jays, Padres, Mets, Yankees, Rays and Mariners are among the suitors for the 27-year-old right-hander. MLB insider Jon Heyman reported Thursday that the Red Sox have also checked in on Berrios.
Count the Yankees, Rays and Mariners among the suitors for Jose BerrĂos, per sources. They join the Padres, Blue Jays and Mets as interested teams, as BerrĂos is expected to be moved before the 4:00 p.m. ET deadline.

Berrios is the only Twin who could be traded before Friday’s 3 p.m. Central Time deadline. Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic says starting pitcher Michael Pineda is all but certain to be dealt, while the likes of outfielder Max Kepler and reliever Taylor Rogers could also be moved.
My morning #MNTwins intel on deadline day:
– JosĂ© BerrĂos likely to be traded, and for a big return
– Michael Pineda all but certain to be moved
– Don't rule out Taylor Rogers trade, despite injury
– Max Kepler drawing solid interest
– Limited options to trade Josh Donaldson
