The Gopher men’s basketball will see some solid opposition in their non-conference schedule next season.
The U of M will open their 2017-18 regular season against USC Upstate on Nov. 10 at Williams Arena.
Headliners in their schedule include a home game against the Miami Hurricanes in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. It’s just the third meeting of all time between the schools. Miami is coming off a solid season last year, when they made the NCAA tournament.
The Gophers will also participate in the Barclays Center Classic during Thanksgiving weekend, tipping off with UMass and Alabama.
Minnesota will then close out their non-conference schedule against Florida Atlantic and Harvard.
For the first time in recent years, the Gophers will actually play two conference games in early December, but those opponents will not be released until later this summer.
Minnesota’s first game of the season will be an exhibition against Division II Concordia St. Paul on Nov. 2.
