After being released by the Philadelphia Eagles last week, linebacker Mychal Kendricks spent Monday and Tuesday in Minnesota on a free-agent visit with the Vikings, accordingto reports.

Kendricks, 27, is the older brother of star Vikings middle linebacker Eric Kendricks.
In an interview with the Pioneer Press, the older Kendricks said it would be a “dream come true” to play with his brother in the NFL, but he still plans to visit the Raiders and Browns before coming to a decision by the end of the week.
Kendricks started 13 of 15 games with the Eagles last season, in addition to three playoff starts including Philadelphia’s win over the Patriots in Super Bowl 52.
In six seasons since being drafted by the Eagles in the second round in 2012, Kendricks has started 74 of 85 games.
If he signs with Minnesota he would have to win the starting job over Ben Gedeon at outside linebacker since his brother and Anthony Barr are surefire locks to start.
