Former Twins ace Johan Santana went under the knife again Tuesday, undergoing his second shoulder surgery in 31 months.
Santana, 34, will likely miss the entire season, his last with the New York Mets, according to the Associated Press.
If so, it’ll be the second full season lost in the past three years. He last had surgery on his shoulder in September of 2010, and didn’t make it back to the majors until last April.
Santana is still owed $31 million by the Mets.
