Adrian Peterson was talking big shortly after the Vikings drafted Laquon Treadwell, and he’s not backing off on his Super Bowl opinion.
Check out what Peterson said Wednesday during mandatory minicamp, via Vikings.com:
“I say it this year with more … I don’t know what to call it,” Peterson said. “We have the pieces and what it takes to accomplish that. There’s nothing wrong with saying it. If any other guy on this team don’t feel that way then we need to be trading them and bringing somebody in that feels that way as well. We all know what we’re trying to accomplish, and I feel we have what it takes to accomplish that.”
He added that he wants more than just one Super Bowl.
“I don’t see an end in my future anywhere soon, but of course I know I’m coming around that last lap. And I’m itching to get a couple before I’m done playing this game. We need to start immediately.”
Current odds give the Vikings the 11th-best Super Bowl odds at 22 to 1.
