Vikings running back Adrian Peterson joined Pro Football Talk on Friday to talk about his expectations for the upcoming season.
Peterson had some glowing remarks about his teammate Teddy Bridgewater who is entering his third season.
“His third year in, that’s a moment when a young guy really just comes to himself,” said Peterson.
He also mentioned a comparison to a certain Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
“He reminds me of a Tom Brady because Tom Brady is great at those mediocre passes. Those short passes and midrange passes and that’s exactly what Teddy does as well. He’s the type of guy that needs the receiver that runs routes and that’s at a specific location that you’re practicing.”
Last season Teddy Bridgewater was sacked 45 times and the Vikings beefed up their offensive line this offseason by adding free agents: Alex Boone and Andre Smith.
According to CBS Sports, the Vikings have the most expensive offensive line in the NFL.
