He’s back! Adrian Peterson donned the pads and was back on the practice field at Blakeslee Stadium at Minnesota State University in Mankato.
It was the first time this training camp that Peterson was a full participant in practice.
He’s been nursing a slight hamstring strain as camp opened last week in Mankato. However after Tuesday’s off day, Peterson saw more activity during the Wednesday morning walk-through and he was in pads for the afternoon practice.

AP returns from a season that saw him when the third rushing title of his career when he put up 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns last year, while helping to lead the Vikings to the NFC North Division crown.
Despite Peterson’s return to the backfield the Vikings still weren’t at 100 percent at the position yet. Jerick McKinnon isn’t practicing Wednesday after he got nicked up during Monday’s practice.
