Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman met with the team before today’s practice.
But the Pioneer Press reports Adelman will continue to remain away from the club to be with his ailing wife, who is hospitalized.
In the meantime, assistant Terry Porter will remain acting head coach.
“He’s just trying to keep us positive,” guard J.J. Barea told the Star Tribune.
Minnesota, currently riding a four-game losing streak, hosts the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday night.
