The 2021 recruiting class got even better for the Gophers on Monday as Tamarion Crumpley verbally committed to the University of Minnesota.
Crumpley, a Cincinnati native from Winton Woods High School, is a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back. He picked the Gophers over offers from Michigan State, Maryland, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Boston College and others.
According to 247Sports, Crumpley is a three-star recruit and the third cornerback to commit to the Gophers in the past couple of weeks, joining a pair of four-star recruits, Avante Dickerson and Steven Ortiz.
In the ever-evolving college football recruiting rankings, Minnesota’s 2021 group ranks ninth nationally, per 247Sports, and third in the Big Ten.
