1. Has Ricky Rubio played his final game?
The NBA trade deadline strikes next Thursday, Feb. 23, meaning Rubio’s name is sure to pop in a bunch of rumors before the Wolves take the court again next Friday. According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, the Pistons still aren’t ready to kill the Reggie Jackson for Rubio idea.
2. Is it time to start grooming Kris Dunn?
The Wolves have to know they’re not going to win a championship this season, so wouldn’t it be wise to give Dunn some major run to prepare for a real shot at contention next season? Maybe what he’s getting now is enough.
Realistically, even though the Wolves appear focused on hunting down the 8-seed in the West, they’re still 3.5 games out with four teams to jump. The playoffs are still a long shot.
3. Will LaVine’s injury be a blessing in disguise?
Andrew Wiggins is averaging 31.1 points per game since Zach LaVine went down with a torn ACL. If Wiggins continues to dominant like he has, will the end result be Tom Thibodeau deploying LaVine off the bench next season?

Might even the Wolves add a small forward in free agency this summer to allow Wiggins to become even more dominant against smaller 2-guards?
